A to Z of Sinhal Scimath Olympiad

Aptitude tests are generally conducted to determine a person’s ability in any given particular skill-set or a field of knowledge. Indeed, we have seen numerous such tests in India by now but there are some which stand out. One such test is Sinhal SciMath Olympiad conducted annually by the prestigious Sinhal Classes with some outstanding prizes to be won.

Here are some basic facts about the Sinhal SciMath Olympiad:

• It covers 4 subjects - Science, Mathematics, Mental Ability and Logical Reasoning.

• It is conducted for the students of 8^th, 9^th and 10^th Grade only.

• Every participant wins an assured prize ranging from a Tablet to scholarship or cash prizes.

• It is conducted in 8 different locations across Mumbai. They are Grant Road, Andheri, Kandivali, Borivali, Kharghar, Vashi, Mulund and Thane.

Sinhal Classes has been successful in conducting this tests over the years and today it stands as one of the biggest aptitude test in India. The specialty of the test lies in the fact that even if the participant does not get to win a lot, he walks out with a considerable amount of learning. Every student gets personal attention for each subject, counseling in case he finds the chosen subject difficult and also a definitive SWOT Analysis. The SWOT Analysis determines the strengths & area of improvement of the students as far as the given subjects are concerned. This in-turn helps the students to have a clearer goal and achieve optimum results.

This time, in 2016, the SciMath Olympiad is being held on 11th of December. It has been split into two different slot timings for different sections of students appearing. The first session is for the students from 8^th and 9^th Grade and it will be held from 1PM to 3 PM. The next session will take place between 4PM to 6PM for the students of 10^th Grade.

Till date there has been a registered crowd of up to 2 Lac participants for this test. There is also a special prize category for top 3 students and they would have the opportunity of flying to NASA.

Given such amazing rewards, it is understandable how beneficial this test is going to be for the students. This year too, the test is anticipated to garner huge attendance as the excitement has been really positive and it just keeps rising.
